Himlung Himal is one of the recently opened peaks for climbing and is located between Manaslu and Annapurna ranges. The Himlung expedition takes you through remote villages to the border with Tibet. Passing through the ancient Tibetan villages of Nar and Phu, Base Camp will be established at the height of 4,900m, which is located at the upper border of one of pastures belonged to Phu. Normally three high camps will be established to reach the summit: Camp I at the height of 5,450m; Camp II at 6000m; Camp III at 6,350m.
Himlung Himal is one of the easiest 7000m peaks in Nepal.
The Himlung expedition follows the Annapurna route to Koto and from there to Na-phu Gaun. The track from Naphu Gaun to Manang was recently opened and this trail offers a great deals of tall peaks and passes, glaciers, ravines, springs and remote villages nearby offering tremendous culture with breathtaking views of Api Hima, Kappa Chuli Peak, Nandadevi, and many more.
We at Himalayan Treks allow full customisation for our customers, which is why we also have add-ons and trip extensions which can be perused by interested trekkers. Some popular trip extension availed by our clients include a day or more exploring the historic sites of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur or why not pay a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Chitwan National Park. If you look for a different experience, though, we can recommend the Everest Base Camp trek, the Gokyo Valley trek, the Langtang Valley trek or the Tamang Heritage Trail.
